OUR PASTOR & FAMILY
Pastor Patrick H. Greene Sr. has been married to the "apple of his eye" the former Debora Holmes for more than 27 years and they have three children. Trudrell, Marissa, and Patrick "P.J", and one son in law Cortez. He accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of 7 years old at the Greater Friendship Baptist Church of Little Rock, AR.
On February 6, 1998 Pastor Greene recognized and accepted the call to preach at the Greater Rose of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church of little Rock, under the leadership of the Rev. Arthur Blood. He later joined the Pilgrim Progress Baptist church where he served as an associate minister under Dr. Gerald Parker Sr., until February 2003 when God called him to serve as pastor of the New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland, AR.
In November 2014 after serving as the senior pastor for more than 11 years, Pastor Greene was called to the Pilgrim Valley Missionary Baptist Church. He is an expository preacher of the word and a visionary pastor who is often sought after to preach revivals, teach classes, and lecture across the United States. Pastor Greene has received training and certification in many areas of management and leadership. He has studied at the Missionary Baptist Seminary of Little Rock, AR and the Faith International College/Seminary in Tacoma,
WA where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Religion and his Master of Arts in Theological Studies.
Other areas of ministry experience he has served in include:
-

He has taught Group Leadership in the National Baptist Convention Congress of Christian Education. Pastor Greene has been attending the Frank E. Ray Expository Preaching, Teaching & Church Growth Conference, held annually in Memphis TN, since 2002. He also serves as an ambassador for the WHW Expository Preaching Conference, which holds its annual conference in Los Angeles, CA, each fall.
Pastor Greene is a firm believer that no vision from God can be accomplished on human ingenuity or muscle alone but it must be carried out by every member of that body. His favorite verse is 1 Peter 5:2 which says, “Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind…….And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
